Northwest Indiana

Wabash Center serves the Northwest Indiana region in Lake, Porter, Jasper and Newton counties through a satellite office.  From this location we provide Supported Living and Family Supports services that offer individualized supports to maximize independence.  These services include: Supported Living, community integration activities, transportation and respite.  In addition we offer a summer program, Summer Adventures, for school age individuals up to age 22.

Wabash Center’s Northwest Indiana location is located at 11055 Broadway, Condo C Crown Point, Indiana 46307.

How we started

Wabash Center began offering services in Northwest Indiana in November 2015, when a member of our staff was approached by a case manager in the area needing support. Recognizing a need for more options in Northwest Indiana, Wabash Center began working with area case managers and behavior specialists to better understand the gaps in service and how to offer that support. We started with the Family Supports and Structured Family Caregiving program, and in 2017 celebrated opening our first Supported Living home in the region. Our summer day camp for the younger individuals we serve, Summer Adventures, opened in June 2018. We are proud of our presence in Northwest Indiana, and we will continue to grow and improve our programs to meet the needs of people and families in the area.
