Earned bachelor's of social work from Michigan's Grand Valley State University; employed at Wabash Center since 2001. "I take consumers into the community for various activities. When they volunteer somewhere, the public sees that they have skills and can contribute to their community. Even though our mission is to optimize their quality of life, it works both ways. They enrich my life as well."

Wabash Center career began in 2003, with time off in 2006 to care for her son with disabilities; holds associate degree of applied sciences in business management/administrative assisting. "I love helping others realize their abilities and strengths. I love the look on their faces when they've grown from an experience and feel their own self-worth and importance."

Has worked with Adults with special needs for over 12 years. He returns to the Wabash Center family because he enjoys helping others progress and achieve independence and confidence in their lives. "Working with people with disabilities has also made me reflect on my own life; setting goals, working towards them, and achieving an outcome that makes me happy and learning not to take life for granted."
